I dunno much about Juming but fortunately, i have the chance to encounter his works in different places, different countries and different time. What fascinate me is the chemistry creates between his large-scaled sculptures and the environment...
Too windy tonite...and this old tune popped up in mind...a sad song related to wind...
Jimi Hendrix -Wind Cries Mary After all the jacks are in their boxes and the clowns have all gone to bed You can hear happiness staggering on down the street Footprints dressed in red and the wind whispers mary
A broom is drearily sweeping up the broken pieces of yesterdays life Somewhere a queen is weeping somewhere a king has no wife And the wind it cries mary
The traffic lights they turn of blue tomorrow And shine their emptiness down on my bed The tiny island sails downstream cause the life that lived is dead And the wind screams mary
Will the wind ever remember the names it has blown in the past And with this crutch its old age and its wisdom It whispers no this will be the last And the wind cries mary

Cartier-Bresson's work taught her three lessons: a blunt photographic record of ordinary facts could reveal the mystery and fantasy within daily life; that the poetry in such pictures turned its back on conventional value systems and notions of beauty; and that this art, which trafficked in the momentary, was not haphazard." 後記:得知她在1940年拍攝的短片 In the Street,很想看看…
